Originally from Northwest Indiana, I received a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Master
of Science from Indiana State University, both degrees in Communication (Radio/TV). I have a background in
Radio (On-Air & Production) and Television (Production/Production Management/Advertising). I have a passion
for broadcast and music, as I was a radio personality for a commercial radio station and I interned at a music
television network in New York City.
I am now utilizing the blessings and gifts God gave me by currently working for a Network Television station.
Though I am victim of intimate partner violence, God delivered me from it making me a survivor. I believe everything
happens for a reason.
Now I am a witness that anything is possible when you have Jesus in your life. God used me to help others who have experienced
what I experienced while in college. At first, I was embarassed because I something like this should've never happened
to someone like me. It was only one attack, but now that I look back at it, there were signs (pushing,choking,overpowering,put-downs,
embarrassment,etc.) that led up to it.
Believe me, the storm seemed as if it would never end after the attack, the break up, putting him in jail, leaving
him to be a memory of my past, but time and faith healed me. In the end, I came out stronger, wiser, mentally and spiritually
renewed.
God has a plan for you and I both. Be not conformed by the things of this world, but transformed by the renewing
of your mind.
